LandCraft® excels at the repair and refinishing of welded and riveted hull aluminum boats. We repair aluminum dents, gouges, scratches and holes caused by dock damage, collision damage, impact damage, storm damage and damage that occurs when in transport (road accidents, road debris, rear-end collisions, trailer malfunctions and more).
Gelcoat repair is a LandCraft® specialty, and gelcoat work is an art. We custom color match gelcoat in-house which provides the most precise color match. Our team regularly repairs gelcoat gouges, scratches, and scrapes caused by dock damage, collision damage, impact damage, storm damage and damage that occurs when in transport (road accidents and road debris, rear-end collisions, trailer malfunctions and more). Every color is custom matched in-house at LandCraft®.
Gelcoat refurbishing, also called gelcoat renewal or gelcoat rejuvenation, is a unique service where a gelcoat specialist is able to remove chalky/faded gelcoat (by hand) to bring back the original factory finish and lustre. Oftentimes we also have to repair scratches, gouges or other blemishes in the refurbishing process - gelcoat is custom color matched to the restored finish and not the chalky/faded finish. Metalflake finishes cannot be refurbished. Not all boats are candidates for this service, but we offer options for boats that have gelcoat beyond repair. Buffing/waxing and exterior detailing does not refurbish gelcoat.
Metalflake gelcoat repair can oftentimes be a very laborsome process, especially when damage runs across multiple colors of metalflake. There are numerous manufacturers that now incorporate faded or ombre metalflake finishes that merge multiple colors. LandCraft's highly skilled technicians are well versed in all forms of metalflake repair and we have repaired metalflake boats with scratches, gouges and other forms of cosmetic and structural damage.
LandCraft® repairs and refinishes all personal watercraft makes and models (Kawasaki, Sea Doo, Yamaha), and we use specialized materials and methods based on the year/make/model. From Sea Doo's CM-Tec and acrylic shell to Yamaha's nanotech hulls, we have the skill and experience to get your waverunner properly and safely repaired. A high-demand service from the Springtime until the Fall.
A LandCraft® specialty is structural fiberglass repair. We repair the most severely damaged boats including those with impact damage from boat collisions, breakwall impact, wing dam impact, rock/bottom impact and other forms of grounding. Our team also repairs boats with factory damage - voids, stress cracks, and other structural or cosmetic issues. It is common for us to see boats damaged from transport which includes road debris, trailer tire blowouts, rear-end collisions, and various other causes. We also repair stringers, bulkheads and transoms.
LandCraft® provides wood and composite transom replacements for both aluminum and fiberglass boats. Our team also replaces damaged or rotted stringers, bulkheads, floors, seat frames and more.
