JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you in the marine or auto body industry? We're looking to hire a teammate with your talents! LandCraft is a boat and specialty fiberglass and metal repair center that has a career opportunity available in our Lockport IL service department for anyone with Auto Body Repair or Boat Repair Experience. Fiberglass repair experience is a PLUS. Entry level fab skills are also a PLUS.

Responsibilities include:

Structural and cosmetic repair, metal repair, paint stripping, sanding, paint prepping, taping/masking, fabrication, buffing, and other miscellaneous shop duties.

Qualifications include:

Attention to detail, consistent quality of work, ability to follow instructions, time management skills, good work ethic, willing to learn and be adaptable, mechanical aptitude/problem-solver, punctual, dependable and trustworthy. You MUST have at least 1-2 years of any variety of the following labor skills:

• Mud work / Body work
• Block sanding
• Dent / Scratch Repair
• Prepping
• Masking / Taping

• (Fiberglass and Fabrication skills are a PLUS)
• (Priming skills are a PLUS)
• (Carpentry skills are a PLUS)
• (Buffing skills are a PLUS)
• (R&I skills are a PLUS)

There are opportunities to advance as you gain additional skills!

This is a position that requires physical labor and qualified candidate must:

Have unrestricted ability to walk, climb, bend, squat, lift heavy objects, work safely on lifted platforms, and follow safety guidelines. Must be able to work around solvents, paint, resins, composite materials such as fiberglass, etc. Must be able to wear safety gear such as safety glasses and respirator.

Must be qualified to work in the United States and have reliable personal transportation.
